Programs of Study
Therapon University requires a substantial core of Bible subjects to complete the degree programs. After completion of the courses, you will have a full major in Bible studies; this is not just a minimal requirement. The curriculum focuses on great life-changing Biblical truths that can be used at any level of ministry.
Not all Bible students are preparing for church or parachurch ministries, but most share a common goal of wanting to help hurting and healing people. It is at this level where Therapon University excels -- giving every student a thorough Biblical foundation coupled with professional skills that can be used anywhere. Completed curriculum is compatible with active ministry. It is structured to be practical and usable.

Coursework Evaluation

An objective of Therapon University is that a student learns, not about the Bible, but learns the Bible. The intent is that each student learns Biblical truths - line upon line, precept upon precept, principle upon principle, and statute upon statute.
Therapon University is committed to removing the fear factor from the desire to earn a Biblical degree. The Bible is our textbook. Every course uses the Bible plus a workbook. Whether your desire is to earn a degree in Biblical Theology or Biblical Counseling, your textbook will be the Bible and a workbook that only requires the Bible to complete. Any test Therapon gives will be an open book test. Whenever God allows a believer to go through a time of testing, it is always an open book test. Our testing philosophy follows His example.
A student working at home may have unlimited time for the completion of the course. As a student completes each course, it should be mailed to Therapon University for grading.
Sometimes the thesis or dissertation requirement is intimidating to a student. We are also interested in "projects" to fulfill this requirement. The document submitted for approval would then be a demonstration of practice. The structure, focus and content of students' projects will take on a wide range of differing forms, appropriate to the actual area of ministry in which each is involved. The project will become a demonstration of practice or creative work, including a commentary on applied reflections. The completed report should be within 90 to 120 pages, double spaced, including references within the body of the work, wherever appropriate, and with relevant bibliographical references at the end.
Upon completion of your program of study, a copy of your transcript will be included with your diploma. Also, copies of your transcript are available upon request.
